As I drive through Houston, I am fascinated at the many places birds congregate. Quite often they flock together over the wires, and watch below, as we drive through the intesectons. Created by dyeing, painting, silkscreening and embroidery. Size: 50" x 43"

Endangered Warblers

Due to land development, many migratory warblers are suffering. The 3 species shown are endangered : Bachmans Warbler, Kirtland Warbler, Golden Cheeked Warbler. The hand of man near each nest represents both human destruction and our ability to step in and help change the current situation. The border below is composed of 5 images taken from a migratory area that is being developed to enlarge commercial space near an airport.
